OUR PROCESS

FRANKLY ON CHEROKEE & FRANKLY SAUSAGES FOOD TRUCK focuses on doing something simple right: handmade sausages and hand-cut fries.

The name Frankly, is a nod to the nickname for a hotdog, and also the meaning of frank: open, honest and direct. Which is the approach we take with our food and our open kitchen. You will see whole animal butchery on the steel table just a few feet behind the counter, where we hand stuff our sausages.

The menu, created by Chef/Owner Bill Cawthon, features classic style sausages such as our Beer Brat, Chile Verde, and Italian. It will also have an exotics selection that will be rotating, including Alligator, Lamb and Wild Boar on the opening menu. 



We make everything in house, from scratch down to our dipping sauces. We are committed to bringing our very best skills and the very best product we can find to the table. The restaurant is counter service with community style dining. We are family friendly!

Co-Owners Bill and Jamie Cawthon are thrilled to be able to contribute to the growing food scene on Cherokee St.
